Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
1. Monthly Expense Tracking:
o Maintain detailed records of all monthly expenses incurred by the sales team, ensuring accurate and timely tracking.
o Prepare and submit monthly expense reports to management for review, ensuring all costs are within the allocated budget.
2. Sample Management:
o Manage the inventory of product samples, ensuring all samples are properly catalogued, tracked, and stored.
o Distribute samples to sales representatives and clients as needed, ensuring their timely availability to support sales activities.
o Monitor and coordinate the sample approval process, ensuring that all samples are reviewed and approved promptly, avoiding delays in the sales cycle.
Salesperson Tracking:
3. Daily Activity Monitoring:
o Track and monitor the daily activities of the sales team, including client visits, follow-ups, and sales achievements.
o Collect and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports from the sales team, providing actionable insights to management to improve sales performance.
4. Leave and Attendance Management:
o Maintain accurate records of sales team attendance, including leaves, absences, and holidays.
o Ensure effective coordination and coverage to prevent disruptions in sales activities due to absenteeism.
Merchandising Responsibilities:
5. Placing SR’s (Sample Requisitions):
o Initiate and manage sample requisitions for products based on customer or internal requests, ensuring the timely development of required samples.
6. Making Indents:
o Generate and process factory orders based on approved samples, ensuring that all relevant production details (e.g., quantities, specifications, and timelines) are communicated clearly to the factory.
7. Making Approval Cards (Sample Approval Card):
o Coordinate the preparation of sample approval cards, ensuring that all samples are reviewed, approved, and ready for mass production to meet customer specifications.
8. Strike Ratio Reporting:
o Monitor and report monthly on the strike ratio, analysing the conversion rate of sample orders into finalized business deals.
o Provide insights and recommendations to improve sample-to-order conversion rates, optimizing business efficiency and growth.
9. Maintaining G Sheet for Decathlon:
o Maintain and regularly update the Decathlon G Sheet, ensuring the accurate logging of orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining seamless communication with relevant departments.
10. Sample Development File Updates:
o Regularly update and maintain accurate records of all sample development files.
o Ensure all sample-related documentation is accessible, organized, and up-to-date for internal and external stakeholder
